The active ingredient of Insect Shield® is Permethrin, a synthetic variant of the insect repellents found in certain chrysanthemum species.
The Permethrin is so tightly bound to the substance that it remains effective throughout the life of the product.
The Scruffs® Insect Shield dog blanket is lightweight and ideal for the summer months. Made from a soft, tightly woven fabric with a contrasting herringbone pattern.
The two different colors are accentuated by the olive green trim on the outside of the blanket.
The Scruffs® Insect Shield® products can be used in conjunction with, and enhancing, the flea & tick treatment you are already using.
