Select Veterinary Diets Hypoallergenic is a formula low in allergenic elements made from few ingredients, not often used as pet-food.

With Green Tea antioxidants (OPC’s) and Vitamin C to help the immune system.
With FOS and MOS probiotics to foster good health and optimise digestion.
Rich in DHA extracted from Krill to help to reduce cellular inflammation and allergic reactions.
Nucleotides to help humoral and cellular immunity.

ONE ANIMAL PROTEIN

Select Veterinary Diets Hypoallergenic contains a sole source of animal-based protein: duck (not commonly found in pet-foods). This reduces the chance of causing allergic reactions.

KRILL AS A SOURCE OF DHA

DHA (or docosahexaenoic acid) is a polyunsaturated fatty acid similar to Omega 3 (PUFA-ω3) that offers an anti-inflammatory and stimulating function . Diets enriched with PUFA-ω3 significantly reduce symptoms of pruritus and atopy and the reduction of diarrhoea caused by chronic enteropathies . Krill is particularly rich in PUFA-ω3 linked to phospholipids, easier to assimilate and more effective than those linked to triglycerides

85% DUCK & RICE

Select Veterinary Diets Hypoallergenic has been created with a reduced variety of ingredients (duck and rice account for 85% of the formula), all of these selected for being generally almost allergen free.
