It has been specially developed for adult dogs with chronic hepatic insufficiency. Hill’s Prescription Diet Canine l/d Liver Care reduces the amount of stress placed on the liver and maintains a normal fat metabolism in the liver. It also works to combat the nutritional deficiencies often associated with hepatic insufficiencies, with a reduced copper content.

This dietetic Hill’s Prescription Diet Canine l/d Liver Care is rich in essential fatty acids, contains a medium amount of high-quality, easily-digestible protein and has easy to digest carbohydrate, in order to provide dogs with a balanced content of essential nutrients. It also has a limited copper content, as well as a balanced mix of vitamins and minerals.
